Together, We Can Enable

Citizens of Georgia who join the US Armed Forces tend to be people who have never tended towards passivity in their younger years. Instead they have usually taken active roles in activities such as Sports or been involved in Community services.

They go into the Armed Forces in order to make a difference. Then some of them lose a limb and suddenly they are not able to do as many things have they have done in the past. Frequently, it is difficult to come to terms psychologically with the consequences of this loss.

Some segments of our society would like to label them as disabled and make them sign papers which prohibit them from earning a living in order to receive a handout, which is frequently inadequate.

The Veterans Administration does not provide "state of the art" prosthetics. Instead, the warrior who has given his country his (or her) service at the risk of his life is given a good looking artificial limb which allows for manual manipulation.

This website is part of an effort to raise funds to give Georgians who have fought for our nation, the kind of prosthetic that will allow them to lead a more productive life and accomplish the types of things that they could have accomplished if they had stayed home and not been wounded.

If you are not part of this effort already, you will not find a lot of information available to the general public, because that is not the purpose of this website. The little information which we are sharing with the general public may be found on our ABOUT page. If you are a part of this effort, you may log in on the participants or challengers pages.
