Purpose of this Website
The purpose of this website has changed since it was first launched.
Currently, it is provided as a portal for news and research regarding the support, both private and governmental, of military veterans who were permanently disabled while serving our nation. The emphasis of this website is focused primarily on Amputees.
On the right side of each page is a research query box which allows you to search over two dozen websites from one location.
Here is a partial list of included websites:
- The VA's prosthetic website
- The DAV's news website
- The Navy's Safe Harbor website
- The Wounded Warrior project
- Operation Coming Home
- The US Paralympics website
This website is not associated with any of the above mentioned organizations, nor should inclusion in this list be inferred to suggest any kind of endorsement by any of the included organizations or agencies.
The original purpose of this website was to promote the efforts of businesses in Cobb County, Georgia who are engaged in fund raising to provide enhanced prosthetic replacements for Veterans from the state of Georgia who have lost limbs while serving in the armed forces of the USA.
Our Fund Raising Effort
We are members of the Cobb Chamber, however this effort is not being done as a Cobb Chamber of Commerce sponsored activity. We are providing these funds to the Georgia VFW's efforts to raise money for the Wounded Warriors project. However this effort is not endorsed by the VFW or the Wounded Warriors project.
